Brian Skeet, a director from London, allegedly hired a hair department professional in January for his new feature movie with an alleged budget of 17 million dollars. The director promised them a significant amount of money and asked them to hire an assistant for their team.
The production was supposed to take place in the USA, but over the following three months, Brian would allegedly call the hair department professional every morning, changing the filming location from Palm Springs to Hawaii, New York, Charleston, Vegas, and then back again.
Despite this, the hair department professional remained committed to the project and declined other job offers. When they finally asked Brian for a filming date, he did not respond, and the producer informed them that filming had been pushed back to July. Shortly after, the hair department professional received an email from Brian saying that he would no longer need their services and blocked them on WhatsApp. Upon further research, the hair department professional discovered that Brian had been working on the same script with different names since 2014, leaving them without a job for two months. This unfortunate experience serves as a reminder to always do due diligence before investing time and energy in a project.
